That's right, it is all true. In Australia you need a small arms license just to keep Spiders out your house.

The main point of this thread now, will be to compare difference to Australia to Other Countries as many people are mis-informed of Australia's standards.

For example, we DON'T actually ride around in Kangaroos nor are there many (if any) Kangaroo Boxing Rings still in operation.

Feel free to ask a question, and have an Aussie answer it!

What's the deal with the apparent Aussie/Kiwi feud between Australians and New Zealanders? Is it the fault of us outsiders who always compare and associate the two countries together?

I ask because I was at a concert once where the vendors for some reason were all Aussie or Kiwi and they all had signs about why their country was better and why they should be tipped more.

And I know a couple Aussies online who like to hate on the Kiwi accent.

I know on my side we call them "Sheep" nothing to do with them acting like sheep, but more of their (apparant) relations with sheep. (Im not entirely sure on the facts, i just know everyone in Australia knows like do it with sheep.) To be honest, ive never met a New Zealander i didn't like, thus im unaware of insults they say to us. Im sure this Feud is just the misconceptions of outside countries. some do yes. i myself dont (i think. mind coles/wollies may be pulling the old switcheroo on us. no pun intended ) but only cause its more expensive on average.

naw, its probally no worse then in the states, but theres less room here so it seems worse.
our hillbillys (called "bogans") are alot closer to where the real people live as well, so you do get some conflicts.
