A friend of mine (Toyotami-kun on TheOtaku) drew her raichu oc Raimundo in a school uniform, so I was inspired to do the same with my gligar oc Glyph.

For those unfamiliar with Glyph, he is in fact MALE. A straight male. He's just really comfortable with himself, so he doesn't care what he wears.

Although I think a boy's uniform would look really sharp on Glyph, this one is more his style XD
Sketched this up yesterday and finished coloring it today.

Ha ha, I'm so cruel to my original characters sometimes. Ah well, not like Glyph would care if he was forced to wear a skirt. He could still kill you no matter what he was wearing.

Oh god, this is just so wrong... SO WRONG. Though I can think of someone who would really "like" this drawing of Glyph. No ones pointing fingers at you Laian.
It looks just great, but oh my... Eyes! Argh!

Eeesh! You did this one quick, its almost too quick...
Anyway, thanks for sharing this one, it made my day. (No really, everything was just plain stale today, this is just what I needed.)

On3On : lol, but Glyph is adorable XD
In his head, since girl's can wear boys' clothes, boys should be able to wear girls' clothes without anyone making a big deal out of it.

I have been getting faster at my painting, and it helps that this was a relatively simple piece. Plus I was pretty motivated.
You've seen my livestreams too. I do those all in one go, so it's not like it takes an incredibly long time to create these things. It all really comes down to how motivated a person is to finishing the piece.

"Sandwich posting" be d*mned... I am posting this, so there! Edit : Mmm! Tasty sandwich post! -Ok now seriously- Sorry, I'll avoid doing it again.
Hawaiianbabidoll
: That's perfectly true, but that makes it all the more impressive!
Hah! I can understand that this one was fun to draw, its just simply brilliant.
And I agree, Glyph is "adorable" but still... Ew. Why must every time I go on here I find something that makes me feel squeamish...

On3On : You know what, this section of the forum is too inactive to worry about sandwich posting.
If I want to reply to someone, I'm going to, even if nobody else has deemed my art worthy of their attention.

Anyway, I was talking to people who shared your opinion of finding my crossdressing gligar disturbing. I personally still fail to see it as creepy, as I don't mind boys wearing girl clothes or girls wearing boy clothes (If you can rock it, wear it. Fashion has no gender).

It's funny because if people didn't know Glyph was male, they'd have no problem with the picture at all. It's their own opinions and ideals that suddenly make them feel off about the image upon discovering the truth.

Oh, and going back to fast drawings, I did this one in about an hour. You can really tell though, since the quality isn't nearly as good as my other pictures, but I wanted to submit it to a contest that ends at midnight, so it was a rush job.

It's the first time I've ever drawn this character somewhat seriously. As in, not a doodle.

Finn the (photobombing) flareon came about after his appearance as a random fox eared blob gained attention from other members of theOtaku.com. Originally just nameless background character #1, a one time scribble used essentially for a joke involving my actual oc, Finn gained a name after the curiosity of members wondered about this strange Flareon character.

He has also appeared in the background of other gijinka drawings of mine, strictly as a filler character and becoming kind of a joke amongst my TheO friends as a where's waldo character and has never actually had a real drawing all to himself.

Until now.

Again, two fabulous creations. The first one is so hilarious. I wanted to sing Aerosmith's song "Dude looks like a lady" when I saw the picture but I didn't ha ha. Oh well, you're right and I agree at 100%, Kit. And I will add that Glyph is awesome and will rock forever, hell yeah!

Hawaiianbabidoll : Sorry, I didn't really explain myself earlier.

For the record, cross dressing or anything like that never made me feel "off", I think nothing of it.
What I said was for humorous effect only. I'm sorry that I gave the wrong impression.

And its sad to hear that some people were genuinely put off by that one of Glyph... People these days.
Well, on to the art~

Finns awesome, no wonder people were curious, 'nuff said.
It is amazing to hear how quick you did that though... Well done!

Edit : Where's Waldo... oh my god, that takes me back. It would be kinda funny if you really did something like that... I was always good at them...
Edit 2 : Someone kindly informed me that the "Thread layout" option changes the colour of the background slightly, meaning that anyone not using the default setting could easily see my "hidden" text... I am so devastated...

: Ha, great minds think alike! I cant get the mental image of Glyph singing that song while in the school uniform now...

mehsk1ll : I don't really see it as dirty. He's not doing anything provocative nor are his clothes alarming.

Sure, you can see his underwear, but let's face it. When you go to the beach you see people wearing swimsuits that cover the exact same amount as undergarments. The only difference between underwear and a speedo is that one is socially acceptable to wear in public and one is not.

lukethewolf1 : Thank you ^-^
