Hello, I have been quite bored lately, and so I have been thinking about Pokemon (Obviously). I have been thinking about the different types, different kinds, and different species of Pokemon. It has come to my attention that it is actually all quite boring. You cannot really catch all Pokemon in one game except through hacks. You can't rebattle people without a specific item. The Pokemon give crap experience and it takes forever to level up.

So, with this in mind I have been looking for a specific type of hack. These are the criteria. NOTE: It MUST be a completed hack, and or near completion and still getting worked one.

Alright, the conditions. Not all have to be met, but if the majority of it is I'd like to know which parts. Alright so here goes.

1. New starters. I'm sick of the starters being Grass, Fire, and Water. If they must be those then none of the actual starters as starters.
1.2. If there is a hack that asks you questions and gives you a starter based on those questions out of any of the basic Pokemon in the game...then let me know.
2. New Pokemon that aren't missingo symbols or sprites of other Pokemon in battle and in the Pokemon screen (Where it shows all Pokemon)
2.2. Also, a mix of actual Pokemon would be nice.
3. Can rebattle trainers continuously. Trainers never have the same Pokemon except for their first/last Pokemon out.
3.2. Can rebattle gyms before beating the Elite four. Gym Pokemon change to different Pokemon.
4. Different character sprites for main character.
5. No need to use HMs. They've always been useless and wasteful imo.
5.2. If they need to make you stop then have something blocking the path until you complete a certain task, but no more HMs. So annoying.
6. Higher Experience. Much higher Experience.
7. Different type combinations. Such as Electric/Fire, Water/Fighting, Rock/Grass, etc.

Um… what your asking… I don't know any hacks like that. I know it may not meet your criteria, but can you at least try out Pokemon Ruby Destiny: Life of Guardians?

catfight09 : Why do you ask if I can check something out? Is it a hack that you've done? Anyways, I know there aren't many hacks out there like that. I mean, if it meets the completed or still working on criteria I'm good as long as they change the starters. Just different Pokemon in the Areas really, but yeah.

I might check that hack out. Right now I'm checking out Shiny Gold.

Oh yeah. Any of the Ruby Destiny Hacks are original and definitely worth the time. It beats Shiny Gold in my opinion.

Well actually LoG starters are the three Kanto starters, but that game still pwns, but eventually I get stuck on it with that darned... Flying fox?

Try Pokemon Brown mate it has new types like; Gas, Wood, Abnormal etc and it also has generation 1-4 pokemon in it.

Well, you seem a little picky. Not many people are familiar with hacks that aren't on Vizzed anyway. Just check out the Hacks Showcase at Pokecommunity or something if you want to see some new hacks.

tj4bigred : I'm not that picky. Didn't you read? I said that it doesn't have to contain ALL those things because I know probably no hack does. It is also something some hackers could do for the Pokemon games. I only want the hack to contain at least some of them, and if not some then at least the new Starters.

Also, as long as it is complete or still being worked on at a steady pace. Not new versions being released every six months.

Culex77 : I actually have the Blaze Black and Volt White. The only problem with that is the DS emulator I have for them runs extremely slow and laggy.

Nikushimi : I actually found a way to fix that so you only get minimal lag. Go to the config tab and select 3D Settings. Once there deselect everything expect Enable Textures and have the renderer be SoftRasterizer. Once you finish with that then go to Frame Skip (also in the config tab and set it to somewhere between 4 and 8. That should help with the lag issue for DeSmuME.

Culex77 : Yeah, I've done that already except for the frame skip. I had that set to 3. Also, I like speeding up Pokemon Games (Makes leveling and training much faster), and when you try to speed it up it just slows down and lags like crazy that way. *sighs* Anyways, thanks.

Not sure if anyone mentioned this yet but Fire Red Omega on here is more of a challenge and has more Pokemon from the first 3 generations.

1. It fits the new starters, you start out with an Electrabuzz, a Smootchum, or a Magby.

2. Even after you get your Pokedex, you can catch a lot of different Pokemon right off the bat.

3. Trainers and Gym leaders all have six pokemon, a few that you rebattle can have different Pokemon except for their first/last Pokemon out.

4. A few places have been edited so you don't need to use HMs.

5. The difficulty is really increased, took me a little under 30 minutes to get strong enough to beat all of Misty's team.

supersam4ever08 : I have heard of it, and I have gotten to the Elite Four (Which was difficult to get past Giovani x.x). I wish that whoever made Fire Red Omega and the Emerald one (I can't remember the name used for that Hack, but whoever made Fire Red Omega also made one like that for Emerald) that they would make one for all the Gens. Such as one for Crystal. Crystal was my favorite games when I played Pokemon since you could travel to 2 regions.

If anyone knows of any hacks that has a large map or multiple regions with all gen Pokemon (Or just 1-3 or 4) with new starters (Or mix of actual starters) let me know! Thanks. I've tried a lot of hacks that are very Popular, but for those out there that aren't to popular I have not played.

Also, Fakemon are ok with me as long as these conditions are met: 1. They have their own icons in the Pokemon menu. 2. They aren't glitched or Missingo. 3. They aren't to overpowered. 4. They're creative not stupid.

Ah Fire Red Omega...another hack by Drayano60. I've been meaning to play that but I can't seem to get a working Fire Red ROM for it to work. I'd ask for one but I have a feeling that's against the forum rules. As is linking a ROM.
