A lot of newbies ask this question. Sorry to again be the one to crash that hope but it will not happen. There are 2 reasons. First, the games are too large. Second, the games are too new. I'll explain.
1.) The data in one game from a disc console like Playstations, Xbox, GameCube, Dreamcast, etc, are 100's times larger than the cartridge games. Just one of those games would require a ton on information to stream through the server and would suck up all the band width. If just a few people were playing these games at once, it would cause she site to first lag like crazy for everyone and then make the server crash. Purchasing a server that has the bandwidth to handle that would cost a huge fortune.
2.) PS3 games are still in circulation. The reason why the games that are here are able to be here is because it in no way cuts into the profits. They are no longer being made and they have been out of circulation for so long that even when someone purchases a real cartridge from a game store, the game company sees none of that money. For arguments sake, lets say the site could handle those large games. We would cut the copyright owners profits and upset them. Since David does not have the copyright ownership of these games, all the owners have to do is demand them to be taken down and he would legally have to. If he pissed off people, it would definitely cause them to just demand anything under their copyright to be taken down. Imagine if Nintendo demanded it.
So sorry, won't be happening.
