As the title says, what is your favourite musical? Which is the last one you watched?

For me, Sweeney Todd has to be my favourite musical. The last musical I watched was Cats, which was also pretty amazing.

I have only seen one musical and that was The Rock of Ages, it was pretty good. It had an awesome story and some killer music. Only thing that sucked was that it was a little longer than a musical should be.

I am probably going to receive so much hate for this, but Probably High School Musical. That was coming out when I was growing up, and that is the only musical movie I can stand to watch.

I would have to go with a three way tie between the Lion King, Rocky Horror Picture Show, and Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I'm actually not sure if Wonka is considered a musical, but there is plenty of singing in it, so I consider it one!

My favorite musical film is gonna have to be The Sound of Music. No doubt, Julie Andrews was magnificent in this movie. I loved her voice and how great and catchy the songs were in the movie. I feel so sad that after her surgery she lost her voice but still I think that movie was the best musical film I've seen thus far.

Fiddler on the Roof. No doubt about it. There are very few musicals I can watch over and over and never get tired of, but Fiddler is one of them.

I have two, maybe three, but one's a Broadway play...  I love Wicked, that's my favorite Broadway play.  It's so cool, and I still have the playbill for it, even though I went to see it in Chicago about six years ago.  It really fascinated me, and it really taught me plays are not boring.  My favorite musical movies are The Music Man, which is like a romance movie, based maybe in the 1900's?  Also, Mary Poppins.  I love that movie, just because the music always gets stuck in your head, and it has a cute magical plot and story.  Both are classy, and I like classy musicals.  It's better than High School Musical, I used to be obsessed with those...  I even once sang in a High School Musical competition before the third movie came out.  I got second in the competition, I was hoping that they would make College Musical, but it didn't work out.

The Nightmare Before Christmas if animated films count. If not, then perhaps Cannibal! The Musical.

I haven't watched many musicals.  I have however watched a lot of Land Before Time and Disney movies.  To me those count as musicals since singing is a major part of the movies.  So to choose I'd say Disney movies.  They have some very memorable sing- alongs.
