I was debating whether or not this deserved a thread of it's own. The reason I made it was this little stat.

No one has made it to the Finals out of the West other than the Lakers, Mavericks, or Spurs in the last 14(?) years.

On top of this, the Thunder beat ALL these teams on route to their first appearance since moving to the OKC.

The Spurs played well... but I think the Thunder finally proved just how great they are.

Now... who do you think wins the finals between the Thunder, Celtics, and Heat? (As of this post, Game 6 has yet to be played.)

Personally, I think the Celtics finish off the Heat to move on, and then the Thunder beat the older Celtics... in a well played series.

Either way, I'll be happy with the finals matchup this year... the only team left in the playoffs I didn't like WAS the Spurs. So now that they are out, the remaining teams interest me.

Hmm… I would normally disagree with that statement, but Lebron and Wayde haven't been too consistent lately. Perhaps Bosch's appearance will be enough to hype the team up so they can go for the win. But regardless, the Thunder is going to win this, but it'll be interesting how things will pan out.

I'm glad. I think that the thunder deserve this championship (or chance at it). No team has worked harder then them in my opinion. Their team work is fantastic and I would be shocked if they don't win the finals.

As much of a Laker fan as I am....I knew they stood no chance against the young Thunder team.

And I was pretty surprised that the Thunder came back from 2 down to beat the Spurs.

As a Sixers loyal, in this finals, I give my support wholeheartedly to the OKC Thunder. Never been a huge Lebron fan, and I tend to root for the underdogs, so even Dallas pulling off the upset last year was pleasing. I've always liked James Harden's game though, he seems like a balanced player, who has made some very clutch shots in his career. Also since I sport a beard myself, how could I not admire James' solid growth, lol. Peace
