That is my update. Death toll on the second quake is 16 now.

Overall, this is a huge disaster that has hit a major region of the country. They are saying that Italy's economy will be severely impacted as a result of the destruction, and given Italy's already struggling economic situation, this could lead to a LOT of problems.

For those that don't know, the first quake on May 20th was a 6.0, the second on the 29th was a 5.8.

The Mediterranean in general has had terrible economic problems the last few years, and this is unfortunately going to add to the turmoil. Hopefully they will receive as much aid around the globe as is necessary to support victims and rebuild.
