Alright, so not knowing what any of these are, I went on bulpedia, and looked each of them up. I have to say, I would go with Zangoose, because he looks awesome, and I think he has the ability to learn electric moves, doesn't he?
And I accidentally voted for the giraffe Pokémon, clinking on it, when I meant to be searching for it on bulpedia... oops.

The best normal type in generation 3 exploud, just because it has a good attack and defense. they are troublesome to train because their pre-evolutions suck. Zangoose is a reliable option as well but is kind of over used and can be replaced with a stronger type later on.

why don't you you put slaking? slaking is so powerfull it beats legends on base stats. (Jurachi, Celebi, Latias, Latios, ect. got this from pokecharms.)
