I really love Torchic, but my favorite starter is Cyndaquil. It starts out adorable, then gets cuter when it evolves. By the time it becomes Typhlosion, it's an awesome Pokemon.

 I agree with TJ. Cyndaquil is definitely the best. Most best looking, the coolest, and in my opinion, has some of the greatest attacks that the starters have to offer.

Totally going with Turtwig here. Not only is Turtwig epic, Turtwig eventually evolves into Grotle, one of my favorite Pokémon to fight with... Grotle is just awesome. But if I could find a way to level up Turtwig without him evolving, I totally would, because that is how awesome Turtwig.
