Old Link VS. New Link

 
Do you Prefer Link from the days of "A Link to the past" Or after he became The Hero of Time? Or do you prefer Next Gen link from the DS games and Wii? State your choice and give a real reason why, don't just say "This one is epic and that is why..." Link has gone through some serious changes this past decade, I wanna know what you really think.
Link from the Snes series and all games centered around that era.

As legendary as the retro link is, I think the new link is better. I know you can't beat the classics, but the new graphics the games are being played on, the Link is looking really good.

Looks aside. I believe old links had better personalities. Wind waker link starts out just because he loves his sister. But ocarina of time link is told by many how brave he is. He goes forward seven years in time to defeat an unstoppable force. And he saves the world. Majoras mask link sees that the world is ending and even before he gets the ocarina back, stays to fight the skull kid even before he can just go back in time instead of being crushed by that childhood ruining moon. I believe twilight princess was just about the only recent link that did it right. Nintendo, make more twilight princess, MM, and OOT type games.

I like the newer Link much better, though I didn't like wind waker Link. He was funny and all, but he just didn't seem to fit the dramatic story line that is Zelda gaming all that well.

Personally I find that all of the Links have been cool in their own way. Although I originally thought the Wind Waker look was "Kid style" when it first came out, over the years since I have grown to like even THAT style.

Personally I always enjoyed old Link, NES/SNES era. Really for the simple fact that it was his beginning. When I think of Link I think back to the old days when I started playing Zelda, but I understand how this might be different for other people.
