I am running all the games in the Java Emulator, not the RGB or any other vizzed plug in.  Recently, I have tried playing both Final Fantasy 3 and Final Fantasy 1, and have been prompted with a "returning players" code box.  To get this code, I assume I need to save and get a code somehow?  I have also tried clicking save on FF3, but it isn't a selectable option, and when I try saving in FF1, no code pops up.  How do I obtain a save/returning players code?  This has been bugging me for the last few days, if I can't save, why re-play the first hour of the game I just powered though?  It's like fighting every single enemy all over again.

In short; Please explain how to get a Returning Players code from an old NES game. (specifically FF3.)  Thank you very much for anyone's support.

DARKANINE :
The game Final Fantasy 3 will not let me select the save option.  I have tried to click save.  The only thing I have found now is that F10 opens a code to return, but it won't let me copy/cut and paste the code in anything I've used.  Any help on this?

Oracle, the company which develops Java, changed some aspects of newer versions of the Java VM, which has temporarily broken save code support on VNES.

The developers of VNES are currently investigating a fix.
