What do you think the legal drinking age should be (referring mostly to
the US, where it is 21 over here, but I'd like to hear about what other
countries consider legal drinking age)? Personally I have met many
people over the years who have in fact admitted to underage drinking who
I consider very immature. I think that the drinking age is fine at 21
since the brain only beings to fully develop at 21 and a person can be
much more mature at 21 than at 18.

I think it should stay at 21, because 21 year old's are more mature than 18 year old's, and they have a chance to get some real life experiences. Although I'm not from America, the age limit should be 21 everywhere, the age limit here is 18,and some of the so-called young adults drink way too much, especially after the finish high school or uni.

At that age, you are a legal adult. If you are old enough to go and kill yourself for the American Government, then you are old enough to go and kill yourself drinking.

I'm 19. And I wouldn't mind the ability to have a drink every now and then. It's not like I'm gonna go overboard and have 80 beers and drink myself into a coma.

If someone is stupid enough to drink themselves to death, let them. It's just another form of Natural Selection. Weeding out the stupid.

My point is I sarted drinking at age 11 and stopped at 20 (before I was legal, well heavily anyway)... I fully gave up drinking a few years later.

AND, I can't affirmatively recall all the stupid stuff that drinking all those years influenced me to do... I'm older now.

Kids really can't handle alcohol. That's why the driving age is five years lower than the drinking age. Most teenagers, like myself, are already stupid enough. Allowing them to intoxicate themselves and hurt others is just dumb.

I would never drink because of the effects that it can cause you. Drinking it at an early age should not be allowed in this country. 21 is the right age to start drinking.
