On the 25, at about 8:20, my dad came in my room to tell me and my sister some bad news. I not in such a great mood now that I know this: my grandma's dog Babe, she, so cheerful and energetic, had passed away on the day my older sister graduated from collage.oAo I never thought of Babe passing away even though she was getting very old. What will I ever do without Babe coming to greet me and my sister when we come to visit my grandma? and now my grandma's other dog lucy will be all alone without Babe. My grandpa really cares for Babe. He cried when babe died. And I have never, EVER seen grandpa cry. That means Babe was really important to him. I've heard a lot of my grandparents pets died, but not because old age. Poor Babe had a stroke. And now I ask all of you reading this, have you ever had a pet or family member pass away? I know how it feels. All we can hope is that they are in a better place. Thanks for reading my

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have two dogs and I regard them as non-human children. They're a part of my family, I miss them when I'm at work. I don't put them in clothing though, I hate that and so do they. Regardless, dogs are wonderful and when they die it's a terrible experience.

I hope it makes you feel better that Babe looked happy in that picture, and that I can only assume she was happy with your grand-parents throughout her life with them.

Yeah, I have had lots of pets before. I actually had a dog that meant a lot to me when I was 7. He was my best friend, and we did everything together when I was not in school. His name was Jacob. I got up for school one day, and found out that my aunt forgot to check behind her truck's tire one day because that is where he liked to sleep. *BUMP!!! BUMP!!!* And Jacob was gone. Granted, he was old as crap, nearly 13 human years old, but it was still sad to see him go. 

So yes, I feel your pain.

That's pretty sad. I remember when my grandma's first dog passed away. He lived for about 15 years, and it seemed like I knew him practically my whole life. The dog after, I didn't care for and wasn't saddened when I heard about my grandfather taking him to the pound. He was poorly trained and in return, had terrible habits. He dug up their lawn, often tried to run away, tore up their furniture, etc. It was pretty bad. She has a Goldendoodle now. I'd say he's alright, not my fave because he's too hyper and he scratches me up all the time.

Sorry about your dog Gingerscream. I know what it is like to lose a pet. I had a guinea pig that died when I was 7. As small as it may seem, I was crushed. Later that next year, I had to get rid of some of my pets including my favorite dog, pet skunk, and my two ferrets (yes we pretty much lived in a zoo) and was just about to give up. So don't think you are the only one who knows how much it sucks, because I think everyone can relate to loss to some extent and everyone, even if they can't relate, can extend you a helping hand to help you through this.

LolWutPear : yeah. It really does suck to lose a pet. I lost my cat Jr too. My grandma loses a lot of cats thanks to a coyote. Jr was killed by that coyote... I swear if I ever saw that coyote I would kill it.
