I found out about anime from the internet when I wanted to watch the shows I saw on TV but didn't know they were anime. At that time, my house burned down, and I couldn't watch TV in my replacement home at that time, so when I got my laptop, I decided to watch the anime I missed, then I found out they were anime. Even now I still love anime.

The first anime I ever watched was Pokemon, airing on Teletoon, if I remember correclty. I didn't even know it was one back then. But my real introductions to the world of anime were Inuyasha and FMA (Brotherhood? Can't remember...), airing on YTV when I was about 8 or 9, I think. That's when I was first introduced to it. I did watch Cardcaptor Sakura when I was younger, though, but as with Pokemon, didn't know it was anime till later (yeah, judge me for all I care, I still like that show! Childhood memories and all, although it definitely isn't among the best, it's still a good one). I didn't learn of the term "anime" till I was 14-15 though. I was lonely before then.

First I watched Sailor Moon when I was around 11 years old.  Then my brother went to a Japanese summer school thing through his high school and he brought home Ranma 1/2 and told me it was anime.  A month later I made a friend who got anime weekly through her dad in china town and that started my anime fandom!

I was introduced by watching Pokemon. I wasn't aware of the Anime genre, so I didn't look into much after that, and the fact that I had no internet to explore. Later, when I got good internet, I played osu! the rhythm game, and some of my friends showed me a Bleach map, (Bleach OP 9) and that started my exploration for about 4 years.

  I found anime, because of watchcartoononline.com. The only reason I went there is to re-watch the first five seasons of Digimon. Then, I saw other animes that I never heard of. After that I would never turn on the T.V(except for video games) and watch loads of anime.

Joining in on the "ressurect Toonami for real" thing that happened after the April Fools' resurrection.
