Hello, I'm new here of course my names Dan and I'm an alcoholic... 

I came here primarily because of the cool games in the retro game room and look forward to playing Earthbound, but then I saw the laptop thing for sale in the item shop and thought to myself I need me one of those so I guess that's it from me really. I think some other people posted their personal stories as well on their newbie threads so I may as well.
About a week ago it was the last day of school, forever in this years case I'm off to uni after exams, anyway we were all in our newly decorated old school uniforms and we decided that the whole year come in scooters. So there we were a crowd of 200 rowdy youths on scooters and 7 hours in to the pub crawl (starting at 8am) I get back onto my scooter in a drunken state and low and behold my mate liams there egging me on to do my awesome scooter stunts. I oblige and end up breaking my hand wrist and arm almost completely resulting in 3 days in A and E and a whole lot of pain killers, morphine doses and connection to an IV drip for the 3 days. On the plus side it was an awesome day and once I got out of hospital I had another pleasant night out with my friends at the pub so alls well ends well really, apart from my idiotic fall. 
Despite it being my last day at school they somehow arranged the timetable for exams to come after this period in time and so now I have to write my essays with a broken hand but meh I get a laptop and extra time because of it so I guess it all worked out for the best. 
Apart from that I guess that's all I'm willing to give away about myself for now probably not the best of starts but its a start nonetheless.
