The plot is going to suck; all Dragon Ball plot points suck. There are explosions, and that's the only thing needed to keep the fans satisfied.

It can't... they should have just made it animated... some movies work a lot better animated then having real people play it. Mortal Kombat did an awesome job using real people because they had a great cast but this DBZ... not sure... If they had a great cast they could pull it off but cheap actors and GCI = garbage... like the second mortal kombat movie.
Here's my theory... games and cartoons that are more mature should have real people play and some good examples are Mortal Kombat, Doom, Halo, Xmen, Spiderman, Resident Evil... On the other hand, some things should just be left in original format i.e Pokemon and DBZ... those two titles seem to appeal to mostly children in my opinion. There are tons of ways to go about it but I seriously think if they made it ALL CGI it could do a lot better. If it has a bad storyline & bad actors... it will do a lot better off in complete CGI then it will with real peeps.
