This article is about the storylines for the NES Super Mario Bros games.
My opinions go first before the storyline, so you won't get confused.

Super Mario Bros 1: I have liked the game, it is fun, it is pretty decent back then, but it still is, after nearly 27 years, it is still fun. I could consider this game for all of the people around the world, because you got to try the game out.

Storyline: In the mushroom kingdom, Mario, Luigi, and Princess Toadstool were having their fun, but then... The princess is gone! Bowser took princess toadstool and went to his huge castle to hold the princess in a trap, but Msrio and Luigi are ready to stop bowser before anything else goes wrong in the kingdom.

Super Mario Bros 2: I thought this game was good, but, I kind of liked it, the main problem of me not liking it was due to it's difficulty, the game gets hard fast, but it was another classic game for the NES, I was discovering the game's secrets on the Internet, and I was doing those secrets, and tricks that are in the game.

Storyline: Mario was in his sleep, in that dream, he was climbing up a long staircase, he then heard a faint voice crying for help suddently, he then woke up, and to his surprise... He saw EXACTLY what was in his dream.  Push start button.

Super Mario Bros 3: I liked this game too, but it ramped up the difficulty a little more than Super Mario Bros 2, but this game is still hard enough that I couldn't even beat world 8 due to the insanity of the game because it ramps up more quick than trying to beat a level that you can't beat. I do like the game, it looks neat and it's a good game, I was noticing on the Internet that there are secret items called... Warp whistles that can warp you further into the game quicker.

Storyline: Once the mushroom kingdom was celebrating Mario since he is the hero, bowser came and kidnapped princess peach again! "Mama Mia!" Mario and Luigi have to save the princess once again and free the kingdom from bowser's evil wrath.

Eddy88 : Could you move this article to the Video Game Articles forum? I would appreciate that.

Eddy88 : If a non-staff member makes a video game article, it has to be in one of the video game forums with the sub forum being articles, it can't be any of the RGR forums. Non-staff members also have to summon the staff to move the thread to the video game articles forum because in there, only staff can write articles, lower positioned people can make articles too, but they have to be in a video game forum (Not article forum or RGR forums), lower positioned people on vizzed need to summon the staff to move that article thread from a video game forum to the article forum.

Thanks, I tried to do my very first article, and I think it came out good.

The "Push start button" line was from the end of the super Mario bros 2 introduction story, that is why I put it in there.

I should summon the staff.

Site Staff: Can you move this to the "Video Game Articles" forum, please?

For future reference, Staff have no power over the forums (except for tRIUNE and I ). If you need a thread moved, summon the local mods.

Unfortunately I don't think this fits the criteria of an article since it's just a review of the SMB series - I'm going to move this to the Video Game Franchises forum.

I think that the Super Mario games on the NES, With the exception of 2, all are just boring when it come to story. At least mario 2 has something unique compared to the other games.

Black Bot :

Actually, in Super Mario Brothers 2, the princess was not kidnapped but a playable character to help end a new villain's regime. Bowser was not even in that one. It probably was my favorite Mario game, even if it is much different and not the original second Mario game.
