Well, I am only eleven years of age and I own back issues. My back is currently in an extreme amount of pain, right now and I was wondering if there are any suggestions to assist my back. Please don't include massages to your reply. Thank you for you concerns.

I always get bad backs because of the way i walk. I tend to just put a hot cloth on my back as this will help warm up the muscles and make them expand which may stop your back pain as it may release nerves from being trapped or maybe just get rid of a bad cramp as well, obviously it's not guaranteed to work but it's what i do

I would recommend keeping your back in a straight position though and if it continues to cause you severe pain after 3 days then go to see the doctor, who will probably give you some pain killers.

I get lower back pain, and I use a heat-pad and lay in bed and rest. Make sure your shoes are a good brand (Nike etc.) and they have good heal support. My cheap shoes give me a lot off lower-back pain.

FalcoDude : My sneakers aren't such an awesome brand. Anyways, I receive pain exactly where you receive pain. Well, thank you for the ideas and concerning about my back issues. I will attempt these ideas. Good luck with your back issues.

I got them really bad last year, and they aren't so bad now. There was one day last year where I could only keep my back in a stiff straight-up position, or it felt like it was breaking! And there was nothing I could do about that.... :C But any other time, I just use a heating pad and put it on my back, usually my lower-back. Ouch I'm sorry you're having back problems so young. But you may want to get that checked out, as you may have scoliosis, and my brother had it, and they said he needed surgery. But he went to the chiropractor, and the chiropractor was able to straighten his spine, by cracking it... He said it felt good. Just some ideas though.

Klutch : Well, FalcoDude had mentioned the exact event above. I don't own scoliosis because the school nurse checked every student out and nobody owned it. Anyways, I receive back issues in the exact area as you receive back issues. I'm glad that your back issues have been concluded and I am also glad that your brother is doing great. I seriously enjoy when a human cracks my back. The doctor said, "You must exercise." I haven't been exercising lately, but I mostly exercise in physical education class. I won't need a human to commit surgery on my back. I think my back had been in pain because I felt sick yesterday night. Thank you for concerning about my back issues and thank you for replying to my thread. I will create sure that I will use your ideas. Good luck to you and your brother.

Thanks,  a good way to crack your back in school is to grab the armside of your desk and twist your back hard, don't break it though. Also you can push your hands forward, and push your back against the chair, and crack it pretty good, put your hands on the "table" part of the desk and push hard to where your back is against the chair and it pops. I'm sorry, this is just hard to explain :C. Too add to what Falco said about good shoes, try zigtec, those are expensive, but very good!

Klutch : I committed everything you added to your list in the past. It isn't great to crack your back, but it will feel relieved if you commit it at the correct time period. I think I seriously enjoy when a human cracks my back. I enjoy more because it feels awesome. Thank you for adding some ideas.

I've had back issues since I was around 9 years old, I've never actually gone to the doctor for it, because I know exactly what they'd tell me, but it's really unhealthy.

I used to have back issues, but I don't anymore because of my mattress. It's hard how I want it to be because a hard mattress can usually help your back and support it

I sometimes get back issues if I do certain exercises (like use the kinect). I can feel a bit of something weird (dont' know if I would call it pain) in my back.

ParagonNova : I've have visited the doctor's office for my back issues, once. He had informed me to commit exercising, but I rarely commit it. (Would you enjoy wiring me 10,000 Viz? If you would enjoy learning why, send me a Private Message.)

catfight09 : Young humans own back issues, too. I don't own Kinect, though, so scratch that off of the list.

starwars293 : I have heard hard mattresses assist human's backs'. When I had visited Turkey, over the summer of 2011, I had slept on hard mattresses and my back wasn't in pain when I had awoke.

I too have back pain.  My lower back is the source of my pains.  I can't bend without feeling excruciating pain.  I can not lay on back without proper cushioning.  Lots of times it's hard for me to lift weights because of my back.  What is the exact cause of my pain I am uncertain, but it is a great burden to me.

My recommendation is to not be on the computer for five hours a day.  Be up, be on your feet, and be active.  Your back is sore because certain muscle aren't used to working and when you sit for long periods (or lay down), they aren't getting any exercise.  You're straining them  because they're not working.

Go outside, run, play, exercise, do sports, be standing.  That is what will take care of 90% of all your back pain.  Laying down is actually worse for it because the muscles are cramped and sore.  Using them helps.

Good luck!

I have back pain but I know exactly why. When the pain strikes it's not very long but sometimes I can't breathe when it happens. I tend to just lie down and breathe slowly in and out, and take Aleve.

Get around and move. Get some exercise, and make sure that you take vitamins. I thankfully have not had serious back issues. Nothing more than some soreness and things like that.

I feel bad for people who have bad back issues. Once you hurt your back bad once, it never is the same. It really does affect just about everything you do, so when it's hurt, you know it.
