I'm not quite sure if this is a dupe or not but anyway how fast is your internet connection whether it be dial up ,dsl , broadband or anything else
my internet connection is currently 12.83 mbs which is pretty decent with 2 computers and a tv connected to it.

My Internet really sucks.... with 8.4 mbps

I'm not sure of the exact speed but i think it's around 15-18 mbps (most likely wrong).

But I have a very high speed internet connection and I have almost no lag.

Maybe because I also got a new laptop with faster internet.

My top internet speed is 54 Mbps. It's pretty much meh...

Hah... Let me tell you about my "hi-speed" internet connection. I pay for 10 megabits per second. Now, I say I pay for that, not that I get that. When I first signed up... Well first of all, I went to the office on a Monday and they said the soonest they could get to my house was on Wednesday. Alright, that's not too unreasonable, I thought. So I waited, and waited, and finally it was Wednesday, so I came home at five only to find... No internet. Not only did I have no internet connection, but the company hadn't even come to my house!

So I called Century Link to see what happened, because they didn't call me or anything. But they had absolutely no record that I had ever talked to them. So I had to wait until Friday... But that didn't seem too bad--that is until Friday came and went and I still had no Internet connection. But I got home after five and the offices were closed, so I couldn't call anybody until Monday to see what had happened. And when I did they told me there were problems with the installation, and it would have to wait until the next Friday.

But finally, they did install my internet--Almost two weeks later. This should have been my first clue.

When I finally was able to use my internet, it was agonizingly slow. It was like going back to dialup days, but it wasn't even always available! It would go out for hours at a time, every day! The few times that I could actually finish a speed test it peaked at around .28 Mbps! It took me nearly four months to get it sorted out, but finally I'm sitting pretty with an average speed of about 7-8 Mbps, and my internet almost never goes out more than once a week!

that's my speed test. I pay for 10 Mbps download so this is pretty good. The upload is crap though. That's the worst part for me.

My Internet speed is quite fast.

My Internet speed is 5-6 MBps and 3-4 MBps upload speed. I don't think that is too bad considering the fact I am on a Wi-Fi connection. But we have Comcast/Xfinity Cable.

Well, It depends... It should be 8 MBps... But, instead, I only get 200 KBps or 2 MBps...

What a Shame.

I mean, you say you're getting 200KBps, where are you getting that number from?

It seems to vary, but right now it is extremely slow at 1.06 mb/s. 

I don't know how to check on my Toshiba, but from the time I clicked reply, it took "Page rendered in 0.335 seconds.", and that is pretty good, because before I did some work and updating on it, and it was taking about 5.350 seconds a few weeks ago. So this is pretty good.

thing1 : That is actually rendering on the server, before the page is even sent to you. It's mostly a diagnostic tool for David and does not reflect your internet speed.

My speed has been extremely fast lately, usually around 1.5 mb/s average download speed. t's pretty awesome for me.
