They are there to boost your stats (on your profile you have a table, attack, speed etc).
There is a feature called the battle arena, members would have fights with each other.
That features at the bottom of the to-do list though.
My recomendation:save your vizz until the items are actualy useable.

Some items are usable actually. In the accessory section, you can buy different items to make games for certain systems in the RGR completely free. I suggest the V-Machine. It's got a lofty price of 20,000 Viz, but once you get it, you'll never have to spend Viz on games again.

It's a really good investment if you plan on playing a lot of games.

I'm not exactly sure what the items grant you. I think they're for a future arena that I read somewhere in the information section. Although, I have some pretty well equipped armor. I've only been registered for fourteen days or two weeks.
