I was wondering if there was a way to trade Pokémon between different saved versions of the game, i.e. Red and Blue? If so, how would we be able to do this?

Its prettu unfortunate really.

I remember an announcement sometime in the last 2 months or so about a program that would allow for online play, such as trading and battling on the site. However it costs a fair sum of money, and unfortunately donations don't seem to be skyrocketing.

Until then, you'll have to struggle through Kadabras, Machokes, Haunters, and other such issues.
