I don't think I would mind if they were put to death. People like that from what I've heard just don't stop or are a lot less repentant than normal criminals. For some reason my skin just does a little extra crawling when a crime is sexual.

Don't get me even started on how bad they are. But still, they actually have a family to take care of. I don't care for toppics like these, but this is basically nonsense to me.

I believe that they should be put to death, regardless of whether they have a family to take care of or not. If they were that concerned about looking after their family, then they wouldn't have committed the crime.

I would prefer death penalty to, say, life imprisonment, because I would rather my tax money not go towards looking after a child molester.  If they're dead, then we don't have to worry about them.

So if they were to be released into their own little town (I have no doubt that Arkham City was what gave you this idea), they would reproduce. And with that, more kids would be put under dangerous conditions of being at risk for something like this. Not a good plan.

My point of view is that they should be sentenced to prison for life. When the prison starts to get filled with people, then you start chopping heads. Give them time to experience the torture of Prison life before giving them the enjoyment of getting the easy road to death.

Twin974 : I honestly can't tell if you were serious or not, but they would go unconscious from the nail first, and if they somehow didn't, cutting it off would surely kill them from the blood loss, if THAT didn't make them unconscious. So there's no true way to let them live, unless that's what you planned.

MegaRevolution1 : LOL, I was serious as a heart attack. Of course he would die anyway but its the psychological torchure of him cutting his own Johnson off to escape death just to die anyway. It is ether that or have honey put on his meat and have a bunch of fire ants tear him up slowly. 

I like controversy, however I do agree with the majority,if someone wants to molest a child, I would want that piece of scum permanently removed from society!!! If that means dropping them off a cliff,or put in a barrel of acid, then so be it. The thing that really peeves me off is that a rapist can get a longer sentence than a child molester. About 10 years ago there were a series of gang rapes in Sydney and two of the rapists had a combined sentence of nearly 60 or 70 years in gaol, whereas a child molester might get five years,and then released back into the community under strict conditions (supposively),told not to go near anyone underage and live out the rest of their life without fear of retribution. Unfortunately there isn't a place that they are prohibited from as they will then cry discrimination. The other problem is, to get rid of child molesters and have less of any crime, we may also need to get rid of the so-called left wing pollies whose hearts always bleed for the down trodden, regardless of what they have done in the past.

This is tough for me having a younger sister - should they be put to death is not my call, however if I was in the position of catching the guy - I would in a real situation where I'd have to choose what I'd do.

Truth be told I've been in this situation where a family member was raped (I know - not molested but same deal) and I went crazy on him - not going to give details.

If my little sister was in this situation - I'm not sure I'd react rationally, but, thinking about it now is not my call - if they go to prison they'll either die there or learn their lesson (on the expense of our taxes of course)..


I have a sense of humility though with my faith as a Christian, so it makes it very confusing - and that to me does sound odd.

No, they should not be put to death. Would you like it if someone made a law stating that people who partied hard and listened to hard-core gangsta rap should be put to death?
I'm not implying that child molesters don't need to be punished but once people start crying for blood, things get out of hand.

They very well should be. Any person who thinks they should hurt a child's innocence ought to be put down. For good. So I say  a child molester should be killed slowly and painfully. Because anyone who hurts a child that way doesn't deserve to live.

But did you read my answer at all? I think they should be punished but killing someone is never the answer. They should do time in prison
where there will be much punishment in store for them, in the form of beating by fellow inmates, incessant mental abuse and physical degradation, and much dry anal sex.

Twin974 : Everyone is entitled to their opinion. I couldn't care less if someone's opinion is strongly different that yours, you are not to attack someone for it. If you are just going to attack other user's opinions, stay out of threads with topics where you would be offended if someone disagrees with you.

Absolutely not. They don't deserve it. Death is a quick escape. Lock them up in solitary until they're dead. Minimal human contact for the remainder of their miserable life. Maybe the first year or so won't be so bad. After 10 years, all they have are the thoughts that they've been dwelling on for 10 years. Nothing new, no change, just the same stuff. They would probably be begging for death at that point. And they have at least another 20-30 years of it. It's basically a legal form of torture.

Painful execution still gets them out early. Let them suffer and rot in a prison cell. Maybe when they're closer to death we could discuss execution, but they need to suffer alone before they get the freedom of death.

BNuge : You want to pay $35,000 a year to get raped by a child molester? That is the end result of keeping someone in prison for life. Hurting one persons life is one thing, but milking society to keep a con alive for life is beyond pointless and ridiculous.
