When sealing a wedding invitation with sealing wax, what letter seal should be used as the seal? I have googled it a bit and cannot find anything on it. I was thinking likely the first letter Groom's family name (so Light Knight: K), but I would like to be sure of what the "traditional" way to do it is.

Does anyone have either mad Google skills or a knowledge of old wedding traditions?

I'm actually getting married in about a month. We did not do the whole letter seal thing frankly because we don't want to spend more money on that kind of stuff than we had to. Heck, if we are going to provide everyone stamps for their RSVP, they can deal with no seal

Anyway, my fiancee's cousin is getting married in a few weeks, and they did the whole seal thing. What she did was did the first letter of both her and the grooms first names, so it was that little wax with a pressed J&B.
