Ron Artest/Metta World Peace

 
What should be the appropriate punishment? So Ron Artest, (that's why I call him, Metta World Peace is a publicity stunt in my opinion) Los Angeles Lakers' forward, threw a vicious elbow to the head of James Harden, Oklahoma City Thunder Guard, that has given him a concussion. What should Artest's punishment be?

There's no way that elbow wasn't intentional, and I'm glad to see him get punished. 7 games isn't really enough... but it's better than nothing.

Saw it live. He cocked that elbow back and smashed Harden. My first reaction was "What the hell?"

The guy is a thug. I don't care what his name is (Metta World Pissed?). He should've received something like 20 games for a hit like that. Completely flagrant and unnecessary.

It really doesn't make sense how he changed his name to Metta World Peace, when he really causes problems in the NBA.  He really needs to change his attitude to the game or he will risk being suspended for much longer.
