I agree. I much prefer having and being able to hold the actual book then just carrying around a little screen with the text. I think it loses something integral to the experience in the transition from actual book to screen. You don't get the same feeling.

I would love to have one personally. The idea of having hundreds or even thousands of novels at my finger tips does appeal.

But at the same time.... you can't really feel the say way when you curl up with a kindle .... it's just not the same as curling up with a good book

You would be surprised.... my 3 year old nephew already knows how to use his parents iphone pretty well. He plays games and watches movies and stuff. I doubt it would be hard for him to read a book on one of those things either.

I agree that books will never go away.... but I highly doubt bookstores will be as common as they once were. When you can download a book from the internet and have it on your Kindle in 30 seconds rather than driving somewhere and picking up a physical copy I think a lot of people would download the digital copy.

I highly doubt it takes long to load. The OS on one of those things is probably really simple. And finding the book you want you be pretty easy. It might even save the page you were on when you close it down

But geeo what if your battery runs out and you, your wife, and kid would be traveling what would you do if you can't view your book no more when the batteries gone and it didn't save the page automatically. I mean it sounds great and all, but I believe it be much easier to have a old fashion book instead.

Vizzed.com is very expensive to keep alive! The Ads pay for the servers.
