Hey I'm posting this just in case people cannot figure out how to get past the first door in castlevania for the Nintendo 64 you blow the crest up I was in a mood when I figured it out where I wanted to just destroy anything I could and since the door was all that was left I tried blowing it up and I hit the crest and it shook so just to be sure it wasn't a flook I hit the crest again on purpose and it shook so I hit it again and it blew up and the door opened I was thinking yay explosion theres never explosions on these old games but anyway 3 or 4 hits to the crest should get rid of that problem
