Basically I need an idea for what the currency will be called on a website I'm going to be working on for the next few years that will contain Christian Flash Games.
Whatever we come up with should sound biblical or heaven-like, sound like a currency, and have a video game ring to it. Also keep in mind that if it's something long, it can always be given a short name as an initial; for example, if it was 'Spirit Bucks', the intial would be SB. Any "positive" suggestion is welcomed because I'm really stuck here

Make a currency sign like in the Sims where there's a B on top and the C kind of overlaps it (like the SS in the Sims) and call it "Bible Cash"!  it'd be cool.

My idea for the graphic was to have a coin and in the coin would be a bible and a controller attached to it (as if the bible as the game system and you were playing it with the controller) but you're idea is equally as good IMO. EDIT: Just added another to the list, 'Bible Tokens'

I think Bible Cash and Bible Tokens both equally sound awesome. Even though I'm not necessarily religious, I'd still play the games on your site  . So, do people buy it with real-life currency? That'd be a possibly good marketing idea. Nexon, Outspark, and Habbo have made at LEAST 7-figure profit from that marketing idea.

No the website is actually gonna have a really small monthly membership fee. We hope to make enough off of it monthly so that I can work on making games for the site full time and when that time comes, we'll be producing about 5 games a month.

What is the name of the site, what would said currency be used for?

Zylo: You don't see the connection with "bible bucks" do you, both Bible Tokens and Bible Bucks has a sound as if they are used to play the bible as if the Bible is a game. And since the site is called MyBibleGames.com, it's a good match.
I do like Goldbytes though. And yeah, some of the idea's are obviously not the greatest sounding, it's all part of brain storming, when you brain storm, you throw out an idea whether it's good or bad.

In the actual bible they make reference to currency a few times as "pennies". Other than that, i don't remember what else it was referred to
But yeah, Gold is a universal term which is good. A possibility could be that gold is the currency but in some games you can earn Manna which can be traded in for Gold...just a possibility

if its a religious game then adding some type of religious name may offend some ppl. however simple gold or spirit bucks doesnt seem offensive. Good thoughts you guys. Yeah I should've posted in the thread a few weeks ago but I did decide on using Gold as the currency, it's just more universal.
