I life to walk barefoot, but i generally don't do it in the middle of a crowded place so i don't bring attention to the face that i walk on my tiptoes.

I've always enjoyed feeling the ground with my feet, there's just something about it that i enjoy for some reason.to feel the earth with your feet is an amazing feeling (well for me anyways I pretty much do it when people are not going to be staring at me, I do have a bit of a confidence issue with the way i walk if you didn't notice lol.

The knowledge that i can just openly walk into bars and restaurants without any shoes on is interesting but I'd rather wear them in a place that if i know i have to go toilet i'm more than likely to get urine on my feet..... EWWW. Plus the fact as i have already said I'd rather not get my feet out in public a whole lot.

I'm not a big fan of going barefoot. The only place I'll walk barefoot is around my own house in the summer, but even then it feels kind of annoying to me. Especially walking on tile, it just feels awful.

As for walking outside with no shoes... I don't even remember the last time I did that. As a kid, I always wore shoes. I think grass/dirt/sand all feels gross and dirty, haha. Also, I just think about all the possibilities of ringworm and things cutting into me, and it's just a no go. I've never minded wearing shoes or socks; it doesn't feel stuffy or foreign to me, and I've never had a problem with foot odor, so it's no big deal.

I feel like seeing others walking around in public without shoes is kinda gross. I'm not offended by it or anything dramatic like that, but feet are kind of yuck to me, especially stranger's feet. I just feel like they're unsanitary, haha.

KG : Yeah I know what you mean there. I mean, when I was in High School, there was this Japanese girl that used to walk around the school barefoot and all, even in class she used to do it a lot.

KG : It's not at all unsanitary unless the person has festering woulds or something. As long as there isn't anything wrong with the person's feet, there's really nothing unclean. Also, how do you feel about sandals/flip flops?

hypermonkey : I'm good with flip flops. I just... whatever touches the ground wherever I go isn't something I want to touch or feel or think about. That's just gross, the ground is super dirty where people live and I would never ever go barefoot. XD Even touching my shoes grosses me out.

But again, it doesn't really bother me that others do it. The only thing that would bother me is if they plopped their foot up on my lap or table something, but that's kind of rude whether it freaks the person out or not.

I like to walk barefoot pretty frequently outside during the summer. I'm not sure when I started but I think it's mainly because of tricking. I don't like doing anything tricking related in shoes if I'm on grass and I'm too OCD to ruin socks I guess I just needed good traction for front flips and it all started there. I doubt I'd ever not wear shoes in a place of business but I'm typically old fashioned about stuff like that.

I do enjoy walking barefoot, however, it tend to annoy my parents, so they don't allow it. They say it's bad for my feet to go walking on the blacktop barefoot. I don't really do it publicly because my parents yell at me about it, so I tend to do it when I take out the garbage or go to the pool just down the hill.

Meh, I walk barefoot sometimes in the summer from my apartment to my car, other than that, walking barefoot is for the beach I think - otherwise, why not just wear sandals?

I usually walk barefoot in my house, outside my house, and in my uncles' house (yes..uncles') Outside the house area, I put on shoes and just go out in the streets minding my own business and life.
