It's not the worst story... but it's not the best.

I'm not exactly a fan of it, but I see effort was made, which is good enough for me.

The problem isn't the content, but more the subject. It's hard to write about that subject perfectly unless you know exactly what a broken heart is. And for most people, the after effects are quite different.
