I'm not really surprised that he came back. I remember when he first came to the WWF before he went into MMA. I liked him as a wrestler and thought he had an entertaining character. Hopefully he picks up where he left off.

I already knew he was coming back to WWE. He signed a 1 year deal.

I'm irritated by this. So much makes so little sense to me at this point.

1. Why did he attack Cena, other than because there was no one else in the ring?
2. Where does Cena-Rock go from here, do they ever have another meeting with each other to congratulate Rock on a good match?
3. Where does the "natural storm" come in for CM Punk? (Johnny said that he was in for one)

So much more I can't think of.

I honestly don't see the point in him attacking Cena... all it serves to do is bury Cena MORE.

And since WWE doesn't have the balls to turn him heel, it makes one wonder if they are just trying to s*** on him till he becomes the underdog they want him to be.

interesting.... I can't say I'm sad that he's back. Someone always returns after WM. It's just sad to think that he is probably one of the biggest names they could actually bring back anymore.

legacyme3 : you can't really bury Cena considering he is practically the man at WWE right now. It's sort of hard to build up the person at the top

I'm not all that surprised really. I mean, who knew he was going to make a comeback? And what he did to John Cena, that was cold in my opinion. Maybe this might be Lauranitis' doing....I don't know for sure.

It certainly feels like they are though. I wouldn't have a problem normally... but this feels like a pattern.

Step 1 - Have Cena and Rock tag. Cena gets shown up.
Step 2 - Have Cena face Kane. Until the PPV, I feel like Cena was being underutilized. And even then, he was coming off as weak.
Step 3 - Have Cena lose at Wresltemania, in possibly the most important match of his career to date.
Step 4 - Have Brock Lesnar return out of nowhere and start a feud by F-5ing Cena for no apparent reason.

It makes him come off as weak, and it makes me question if he is the man anymore. They seem to be more focused on Punk and on Bryan and on Rock, etc. Which is fine, I have no problem with it, I only have a problem with the chain of events all happening seemingly at once.

Wondering where he gets a break.

Maybe this is going to be his heel turn. Maybe he finally lets the people get to him and he turns his back on them and starts doing what he wants for himself instead of being the "good guy". It's not exactly original but, like I said in another thread, it would be shocking.

As for Lesnar I really hope he isn't wasted like Goldberg was when he "came back" so to speak. Although I always found the WCW guys got buried during the "invasion" and post-invasion storylines.

Honestly, if it's a heel turn, I am PERFECTLY FINE WITH EVERYTHING THAT HAS HAPPENED.

I've been wanting a Cena heel turn so bad ever since 2008 or so. This whole Cena-Rock thing made me want it more. I wanted a more aggressive angry Cena, one that tore through everybody like he should be able to.

I hear from "rumor" sites, that Lesnar will be working a "more than Rock, less then Goldberg" type schedule if that makes much sense. I didn't watch wrestling when I was younger, so I am not familiar with Goldberg.

so, he'll show up for Raw and that's about it.

Well, better than nothing. At least he'll do more than 1 match a year. Rock can say he's going to do more matches but who else does he really have to face?

As for other returning people.... isn't "Lord Tensai" just Albert? I can't remember what else he was called... but he looked REALLY familiar.

Lord Tensai reminded me of SOMEONE.

But it was still nice to have that presence. He may have beaten a jobber... but jesus, I don't remember the last time a match ended like that.

Just finished watching Raw (I download it and watch it rather than watching it live so I can skip Diva crap ) and the return of Lesnar was awesome. The reaction he got when his music hit was pretty intense.

Oh, yeah, normally I just watch the full show on Youtube the day after, but I REALLY wanted to see Cena's reaction... so I watched a stream of it.

I mean, I am not a huge fan of Lesnar, but even I recognized the music, and smiled a little when I saw him come out. It was a light smirk... but it was a smile

I have mad respect for him because of his matches with Kurt Angle.

Look up some of those matches. Seriously awesome. Especially the iron man match. I can't help but respect anyone who can put on a good iron man match.

Plus if this is actually part of a push to get Cena to turn heel then I'm all for it.

I think Lesner is mad at cena cause he stole his F5 move and called it a FU

I predict that somewhere down the road Cena will call him a failure in life, failed at ufc, failed at nfl, and will soon fail at beating cena at maina. This one can be more personal then rocks feud cause he has more in common with lesner then rock.

Not only is cenas finisher identicial to lesner but cenas motto is "never give up" which brock has done several times now. He gave up on WWE, gave up on NFL, gave up on UFC. So he has
plenty to work with to make him look like a prick and turn him heel.

You cannot rise above hate if the truth itself is hateful. Calling someone a failure would contradict that probably.

He left when? Well it been awhile since I watched I have learned it is fake wrestling so I stopped watching it.

Yeah I kind of marked out when he came back. I kind of like that he's back. Even though he's only going to appear 2 times a month max.

Brock has always been cool in wrestling. It would be funny if they put him into a more "stone cold" role. I haven't watched Wrestling in 8 years, but I would watch that lol

He should stay in the WWE. It's what made him.

I watched the end of raw a couple more times and the one thing that stood out more than just about anything else is that the "pop" for Brock Lesnar was louder than I've heard for just about any other superstar that has come around in the last 5-10 years. Sure it was his surprise return and all but if it makes WWE a little more exciting to watch that's cool with me.



I think the thing I miss is the chaos that used to reign at WWE. Back in the late 90's and into the early 2000's you really didn't know what was going to happen next. Now it feels like I can predict just about anything that is going to happen and that's really boring. I wish I wondered who would win a title match before it started rather than knowing who was going to win. I wish feuds were a bit more complicated. It just seems like things have been dumbed down and it's really unfortunate.
