I find myself stuck in a 3 hour long class, searching for something to hold my attention.  An amazing distraction, what's this I stumble upon?  Vizzed... Classic games in a browser based forum?  I think I'm in love... Hello all.

Welcome to the site. Yes, this site is definitely a cure for boredom. Just make sure that you aren't missing anything important in your 3 hour class. Would want Vizzed to be the cause of falling behind I'm not guilty of being on here during class time at all..........*whistle whistle*

With my professor sitting at a desk reading verbatim from a power point, I'm not exactly worried

Oy. I hate that. I get that college professors don't have to have a teaching degree to be college professors and all, but you would think that you don't need to have a teaching degree to know that that is not an effective way to teach. It just makes you memorize. It also makes going to class pointless (unless he does attendance points). 

I think at the end of class he actually talks about tools we need for the assignments, but other than that it's been pretty mundane.  At this point, it is my final semester so my mind is more "I JUST WANT TO GET OUT OF HERE" than I wish I had a better professor... xD

Hey, hey! You are correctly correct there partner, Vizzed, is our boredom savior, AND our childhood resurrection =D
You were in class? Make sure that you don't miss anything that could be important, or the class is being REALLY boring like philosophy, my mind capture what the teacher teaches until a certain point, past that, I continue hearing her, but my mind completely closes, not recording anything the teacher says.
Anyway, hope you enjoy Vizzed a lot, Vizzed is simply awesome! Too bad I can't take Vizzed with me in school sometimes >< (The teacher don't come, or, when I'm in philosophy class >.>)
If you need help with anything, make sure you contact the Mods here, they are very friendly (as you can see) and patient.

Thanks for the warm welcomes and the concern regarding my academia.  No worries though; I'm 25, if I didn't know how to budget my time between school, work and play; I'd be in trouble at this point...
