Hey, I am curious. They have a lot of types already. 17 to be exact, but if they were to add another type, or even a few more types, what would you want them to be?

I don't have any Ideas myself, but I am curious what Ideas others might have,

Good question. I actually thought about this quite a few times but came to no worthy conclusions. I would say Robot or Transparent Pokemon perhaps but they could easily be broken down to Steel and/or Electric(for Robot Pokemon) and Ghost (for Transparent Pokemon) so it's difficult to come up with a good new Pokemon type without it falling into the others.

There isn't really any new types to make, they've made all the types possible I'm pretty sure...but i'd probably make something like dragon/grass type. :3

I would want to add air. It would make the practically invincible so why not have a impossible pokemon to beat.

pokemon x : Yeah but that could easily be broken down to a Flying type or Ghost type...depending if the Pokemon itself is made of air.

Yeah, I thought the same myself. Almost any type you can think of could be added to any other type they already have. I did have a few types in mind that could be broken down into a multi-type pokemon.

The types I thought of were Magma or Lava, but that could be a multi-type Fire/Ground or Fire/Rock. I also thought of Vapor, but that could be broken in Flying/Water or Fire/water.

Another one I thought of was Beast type, but that seems a bit to...Digimon.

I was also thinking like something along the lines of Gravity, Cosmos, Life, Death, and a few more like that, but saying them seems way to digimon and yu-gi-oh to me. Idk. What do all of you think? Also, Gravity could be put into the Psychic group and Cosmos could be psychic as well and also Ghost. Life would be interesting, but could be put into Grass and water and all that. Death could be Dark. So, it is hard to come up with new ones, but anything you think might be unique just say.

I want them to make a wood and tree type.

I would Probably want a space type I mean they have a few Pokémon that are said to be from space such as Clafairy  so why not?

I honestly think they have covered any and all elements we can possibly think of.

Maybe something like weird or exotic. Since they have a Dragon type, why not a Phoenix type?

Yeah, I know they have a lot of elements covered, but really they are the foundations of most elements. I believe that's why they have dual types such as Fire/Rock which can be interpreted as Magma.

So, since that is the case any element you can think of EVEN IF it could be "technically" part of the other elements. Also, any combinations of the types.

I am currently confused. What is the topic of this thread? There may be many types of objects and items included in this world, but I don't have a clue what the topic of this thread is. If the topic is Pokemon, then, I would most likely choose a Cloud type of Pokemon or a Sky type of Pokemon. I don't normally play Pokemon, but is there already a Sky type of Pokemon? I would enjoy confirming this. Thank you!

ProGamer135 : The topic is what new type would you want them to create for pokemon. If you are confused because I used "elements' instead of types then that is my bad. I sometimes refer to the Types as Elements.

As for the cloud and sky types being already a type. The answer is yes and no. They have a Flying type which could be considered Sky or Cloud.

So yes. This is about Pokemon. This is about what new type you would want.

Pokemon have a lot of types. Here they are: Fire, Water, Flying, Ground, Rock, Electric, Dragon, Grass, Ghost, Psychic, Dark, Ice, Bug, Steel, Fighting, Poison, Normal, and ???. The ??? isn't a type of Pokemon except in terms of a Missingo pokemon, or glitch pokemon that doesn't appear as it should, but rather as a symbol. The ??? though is a Type for "Moves"

So, if you could create a type or create a dual type what would you want?

What about some sort of virus type? I know it wouldn't work but that is the first thing that came to mind, 

I doubt there is a generic type of Pokémon that you would be able to add because any combination of the 17 or so types there is can pretty much make anything you think of...  As for my idea i have no idea how that would actually work... Unless they started making a man-made class

Maybe a light type! That would be really cool! Light would do high damage to dark types!

This is a tough one but how about a Zombie type. That would be an awesome type for a Pokemon game.

I just thought of a new type, it is... "Cart", wait, maybe a "Food" type?

I think a mixture of ghost and phycic would be cool.

Since phycic type Pokemon are weak to ghost this give phy-ghost or whatever the advantage.

I think they should add the Magic-type. Magic-types could have new special abilities and learn new special moves. 

I dunno anti-matter would be a kinda cool type or wind type(I don't count flying as wind)
