yeah i am having the same problem. i was playing pokemon red and found that i didnt have the hm cut. then i started playing pokemon blue and i dont have the hm flash after i beat brock. i dont know whats going on..

I did a quick Google search and didn't notice anything. Any idea if this is a game glitch or not? I doubt a ROM error would target one item in the game and delete it, so I assume it's some kind of circumstantial glitch.

childhood_2.0 : Sounds like some glitch in the game itself, not a rom error. IN this instance, there really isn't a lot we can do other than tell you to save often so in-case something like this happens, you can load to right before you got it
