   I am torn with this game. I really wanted to give the game a higher score, but certain factors prevented me from doing so. I will explain further in this short but sweet review.

   Graphics: I loved them! Every pre-rendered graphic (of Sonic & Knuckles) looks utterly gorgeous. The levels are a bit bland, though.

   Sound: Like most Sonic games, it has memorable music. I am off-put by the ring sound, though.

   Depth: The game's main weakness, there is none to speak of. Special Stages are a cakewalk.

   Story: Nothing, really. It's basically like Sonic and Knuckles just decided one day to go after Robotnik. Then again, this is a pre-Adventure Sonic game.

   Difficulty: Easy for a Sonic game. 

   Addictiveness: For some reason, I occasionally come back to this game. I really do not know why. I just do.
