This was probably asked a lot on the video game thread here, but I truly want to know what the hardest video game you have ever played in your life. It doesn't even have to be from the games here. It can be from anywhere at all. Even places i haven't even heard of. There is one game in particular that is not from here that if you do seem to mention I can give a small prize. As said before The hardest t video game in the world/Universe.

Wizardry...Im not sure which but i believe it was before 5..maybe 2.It was an endless dungeon,with no in game mapping.Dying of old age was the reward for your heroes that actually lived longer than a day.It was one of those old school games you didnt  play for fun but the desire to beat it that was almost revenge like.

Legend of Zelda ocarina of time don't even get me started with the water temple but I like a skill game and how they give you no info what so ever on what to do next but there is another game anybody who played it would agree that its frustrating and hardcore is super Mario frustration cruel how hard it is still a great game an those are the hardest games ive ever played

I think Battletoads speaks for itself,

other than that,  Solomon's Key was horrible, I am convinced impossible without save states.

Zelda 2 made me contemplate suicide, I had the remake for GBA, I got to level 2.

and every Shin Megami Tensei title ever created.

DBZ legend of the super saiyan
Let me explain the things it's cheap as hell
1)It takes forever to level up
2)first boss is un-beatable with out a item...i item thats hard to find
3)If any characters die their gone until the end of the game
4)You can't even level grind before the saiyans battle much...you won't get encounters --__--
5)Nappa can kill almost all your characters VERY easily
6)Ape form vegeta is near impossible to even hurt
7)Battle system is very luck based
8)Even everyone at max level(You get a huge team if your lucky enough to have everyone)the final boss (freiza) IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE!!!!! he's got like 100000
HP and all your charaxters do 2-3 damage and Vegeta wont attack
9)You don't get money from encounters
10)Glitchy-Chiatzu and tien and chiatzu dies for no reason sometimes
All-in-all hardest game i beat/played i didn'y even try on the secert final boss (super saiyan vegeta)

There's a few games I think of that aren't really hard on their normal settings, but are nearly damn impossible on their hardest ones.

Games Like tekken, Some sports games. Generically games that have replay value and then want to screw you over.

Of course you have all the generic hard games, Battletoads. Contra (no konami code), Silver surfer, Superman 64 (enjoy!)

Hardest game for me to complete is Final Fantasy 13. I've had the game since it came out, I've got to the same stage 3 times and then just gone "meh I can't be arsed with it".....
