I was excited when the new plug-in update had a new N64 emulator. When I went into it, i was happy with the 3d on my computer, but the sound, not. I wanted to change the controls for my game pad, but I couldn't find how to get to the menu. I tried every button on the keyboard, double clicking the screen, everything. How do you configure the controls for Mupen64Plus?

Unfortunately they can't be changed with the plugin. Not sure why, but the version that the plugin is built on doesn't have a user interface to configure controls. It's possible that it will be available with the next update.
