Last time:Byakuya arrived at Muramasa's lair and was told by Senbonzakura to kill Sode no Shirayuki in order to prove that his betrayal was not false. After "killing" Rukia's Zanpakuto spirit, Byakuya is ordered by Muramasa to go on a mission. As Rukia is looking through Byakuya's office, she senses his spiritural pressure and finds him with a bunch of soul reapers knocked out. Byakuya then proceeds to toss Rukia's broken sword to her and simply says to stay out of his way. As Rukia feels helpless in the situation, Renji arrives and battles Byakuya. As Renji and Byakuya face off, Zabimaru and Senbonzakura begin to fight as well. Sady, Renji and Zabimaru lose and are surrounded by a bunch of Zanpakuto spirits who are ready to finish them off. As things look bad, Ichigo and a number of other Soul reapers arrive to help Renji and Rukia.


 The war between the Soul Reapers and Zanpakuto begin to heat up as new battles start to unfold.
