Need an Adventure Game

In my Electronic Game Development course, we can play games in class as examples of whatever genre we're going over that week. Next week we're doing Adventure games.

Problem is I don't know of any pure Adventure games. We're not allowed to do Action/Adventure games. Basically I need to find a game that's like Zelda without the fighting or the weapons or anything. Just a bunch of challenges and a storyline.

Can it be like a point and click style adventure game, or it does it have to be a 3D adventure like Zelda? There are a lot of point and click adventures that involving solving puzzles and such like Hotel Dusk (one of my favorite games ever).

Hmm...I don't know any pure adventure games to be honest (I'm more action/adventure). Although, I found a site that has a list for adventure games. http://www.listal.com/list/recent-adventure-games. Sorry if this doesn't help you. Are you looking for PC , console, or  flash games?

They only have the demo on the site, but if you want i can PM you a download link to the full game.
