Most of the time people play games that relate to the ones that they played when they were little. Which one pulled you into video games and why was this particular game you favorite when you were a child?

Well, as kid I grow up with several games... All came up in one of those "XXXX in 1" pirated cartridges... I've had one: 64 in 1... It gave me hours of fun with: Battle City, Castlevania, Contra, Balloon Fight, Duck Hunt, and 58 different games...

Yeah... I grew up with that cartridge, Playing it all the days.

Eddy88 : Hmm I never heard of a cartridge that would have multiple games on it. Lol but it seems like an efficient way to play a lot of games ha ha
DarthDub : Yea I remember the sonic games as well. Wish they would make a good sonic game again. I remember playing Sonic Pinball on the Genesis. God the countless hours spent on that single game

As a child of the late 80's, I was introduced to gaming with Sega Genesis! The first games I remember owning were Sonic 1 & 2, Altered Beasts, and Vectorman! My favorite of the three is Altered Beast because I thought the different transformations from man to beast were cool, the music is pleasing and the monsters/characters are related to Greek mythology!

I actually own all three games here on Vizzed and play them occasionally in the Retro Game Room. You should try them, if you haven't already.

Oh man...XD *trip to the past* First of all, the games that most likely pulled me into the gaming society was Kirby of the N64, and Tekken 3. I have played others before that but I really remember enjoying those two the most when I was little.

On my fifth birthday I got an NES with Super Mario Bros. It was the first time I'd ever played video games and I absolutely loved it. My childhood weekends were spent with my cousins playing it as well as 2 & 3. I played the heck out of those games and whenever I get the chance to now, I play it for hours.

The only game systems I had when I was little were the N64 and the gameboy, so all my childhood games are on those. Of those, the ones I remember most were Pokémon Yellow, Starfox 64, and Majora's Mask.

The one game I remember playing more than anything else as a child was Winnie the Pooh: Tigger's Honey Hunt for N64. My first game, and pretty memorable. I mean, I love WtP, and if I remember correctly, this game was pretty fun, at least to 6-year-old me.

The first game system I purchased was the NES back in 1991 or 92.   I was so excited because the system also included Super Mario Bros 3, which was very popular at that time (and still is).   I wore that game to death trying to find all the secrets.
