I would say Paranoia Agent but it isn't on the list and you just put Dragon Ball not Dragon Ball Z There's a different you know?So i went with Yu Yu hashugo It had lots of fighting it's hard to believe that anime started around 1992 what took long for it to air in the u.s ?I use to watch anime around that year

death_nation : The reason I put Dragon Ball on rather than DBZ is because I counted the entire Dragon Ball franchise. But maybe it would've been better if I but DBZ on instead. By the way I thought that Yu Yu Hakusho was good too.

I think for all of the animes that I watch and all of the mangas that I read.... which is a lot from both. XD
I think Yu Yu hakusho is best. Even though Saint Seiya is a bit better. -hugs on Saga- heh

Well ive only seen naruto,bleach,one piece and fullmetal alchemist nad out of those four bleach is my favorite although narutos close second.
Cant really decide if one piece or fullmetal alchemist is third.
Also you could have put up an naruto shippuden alternative.

Although I'm a bit more of a fan of seinen...

I'd say One Piece is the best of those. For one thing, it's the second longest running manga currently in Shounen Jump (the longest, Hajime no Ippo, is sadly not listed here). It's been around for a decade, and with good reason. The art is unique, the characters are well-developed, the storyline is interesting and coherent despite how long it is, and it doesn't feel dragged out even after a decade.

Moreover, it doesn't place the main character quite so quickly and automatically at the top of the world, and leaves a vast portion of relevant world entirely unexplored so far. It flows so naturally that rather than feeling like it's been dragged on past its time, one dreads that in only another decade it may see its final chapter.

I would definitely go with naruto, was great watching and had people sitting at the edge of the seat quite a lot of the time :p plus most of the music was great (not all!) only bad points would be that the 3 or 4 series before shippuden were filler episodes which sometimes could be boring, and the other bad point was if you were watching it on DVD, the end of an episode would also be the start of the next :L apart from these its top-class I would recommend it to anyone who likes anime and ninjas

I don't read manga and I can't choose which anime I like best.  Kenichi The Mightiest Disciple was a good one that many people don't remember about.  I still watch Yu Yu Hakusho and if I had to choose that would be the one.

Perhaps it could be because of the seafaring adventure aspects, or just that I like the characters more, especially the villains (Mostly Sir Crocodile, but also Buggy and Lucci). I also enjoyed the action parts a bit more then any of the other shonens, even Hakusho (Barely though).
