Yeah, I've gone back, not once but twice... it was a rather complicated relationship... and yeah, in the end it kinda blew up in my face. But that first time I went back, I don't regret at all. Just the second time. The second time was stupid of me.

No I haven't been bitten by the same person but I know someone who has. From what I heard it makes you not even want to get into another relationship anytime soon, especially if you really liked that person enough to give them a second chance.
