Keep in mind that while most will be free, they might be limited in what you can do unless you purchase the whole thing. So if unless you can afford to buy one don't be disappointed if you end up with a huge logo of the "free" product you're using somewhere in your movie. However, it's usually better to buy them anyway if you plan on making a lot.
