Do you remember the SOPA bill? Well, the idiots behind it have decided that they really want it passed and created the ACTA and TPP agreements. These are like SOPA and PIPA, but worse because of two very important factors. First, it effects the entire world. Secondly, it's a trade agreement, so it got past congress, the house, and is immune to vetoes by extension.

This has actually been going on for a while already. But anyway, I have no concerns of it passing. Frankly, it would be pointless for any Representative who were going to vote against SOPA to vote yest on this one. When it comes down to it, they want to be elected again. They knew that if they voted yes for SOPA, they could kiss any chance of being re-elected by the people of their state. Same applies here. Also, pretty much all the online support SOPA got l(like GoDaddy) and lost aren't going to just support another one that works on a global level. I see this more of a grasp at straws.

yeah, I've heard of this. This sounds like it will make a LOT of unhappy citizens everywhere since its not just the US this time. This can only get worse before it gets better. I have a bad feeling where this will turn into.
