Pornography is no form of art..altough naked woman are often used as a concept of art in things like painting. Or pictures.. So in this term its indeed art..
sex is not a art itself.. It might be called a art if people are really good at it. Then it might be considered more of a hobby or what so ever.
but its not a art in the terms of artistian art.

Just like some sport.. The art of sports..
there might be a art of sexual sensations or something i don't know... for me it some times is a concept of art.. That represents the terms of pure love and pleasure.. But this only applies in the terms of "making love"not in the term of making a porn movie.. I do think there is a lot of pleasure and technique in it.. But its lack love.. And love it what can make sex a sensual art.

If having sex is in term of becoming parents then your child should be the artistian outcome of it..
i know, i have a some really strange standpoints on this subject.. things in sexual behavior, pornography or love can be beholden as a form of art is many different ways.. Its just how you look at it..
even for pornography in making movies. This can be really passionate. And then will became a form of art.. Well that's just my opinion..
i'm well aware of these subjects.. And i'm also really interested in arts.. Artisan arts. Or other kind of arts.. If its either a art made with paint brushes. A sculpt drawing. A scepture out of stone.. Or a palace made out of sand..
or a certain lyric or story. Or even certain styles of living which includes love,sex, and science.
i'm interested in the human body. Its really fascinating how everything grows, works, and how it also slowly decompose itself when you're dead.

anyways. That's just my opinion on this subject.. I hope that people can accept this..

I think it really depends on the person, and that persons tastes. To me in some ways I would consider it art, but in others not. A photographer who takes the pictures would think of his work as art would he not? Every person is different, so it makes sense that each person will think something different to another.

Well to me yes it is depending on how you look at it, take the statue of David for example. It depicts a naked man in a way that doesn't represent a pornographic image but rather a man thinking in a all natural setting. Basically what sets nude artwork apart from porn is what position they are in and what your trying to symbolize while making a nude piece of art.

um... It's just a pleasure act. People watch and the people doing it have fun. I don't clearly know why they would make videos of it but that doesn't concern me. No it's not an art to me.

I can say, I know a couple porn art sites (I won't say what sites they are), but yeah, by exerience those sites, I can say, porn does have an art form.

I think depending on what you are watching/looking at it can be an art form. like playboy. that to me is considered an art-form. because where it is porn, it is also more focused on the buty of the female body not just sex, but most of the things in this world now is not in my opinion. for example 99% of the videos from motherless are just porn not art. there are many many other examples but I'm gonna avoid saying them in case some here are under 18.

There's a really fine line between eroticism and pornography and I see this being argued all the time on deviantART or other art websites where they'll have like artistic nudes or whatever. It's a bit hard to explain, but for me it's clear that porn wouldn't be an art form (at least for the most part, I mean I don't know how artsy they can get with their porn or whatever O.o) because pornography is blatant and very explicit. Of course porn has eroticism involved in it, but it's not done in an artful way. It's made to please the viewer sexually. Erotic art can please the viewer sexually too, but it's done in a much more subtle way; it strives to highlight the idea of sex or sexual activity in a more sophisticated or aesthetically pleasing way rather than a sexually pleasing way. It's supposed to highlight the beauty of a female body or of a male body.

In definition, which is an expression of the self, yes its art. But in that case, almost everything is art.

What people really want to know, is it the connotation of art? That connotation is something beautiful, thought provoking, high art. In that case, I say no. If someone watched and interpreted the "Starry Night" or read "The Raven" and interpreted it, and then watched a pornographic film, the feelings would not be similar. There is no depth to pornography, there is no thought process, there is no deeper meaning. What you see is certainly what you get. Its a video, similar to things like a walk through to a game, all you do is watch it. 

Plus, many people think its wrong, myself included. 

Pornography is a form of art depending on how you betray the image,like how you are making it appear and what your trying to symbolize with the image.Like some pornography what they are trying to portray and symbolize is sexual acts meaning to arouse individuals were pornography such as the infamous sculpture  "the thinker " were a nude man is portrayed deep in thought while sitting or the statue of David where a nude man is portrayed joyful almost or as tho he just had a(n) idea. So basically pornography in some situations is a(n) form of art  depending on what you are trying to betray and symbolize.

Pornography is not necessarily art, it's just a sleazy way of attracting someone's attention...usually a guy's attention...yes I am a guy. xD
