Well my most faved final fantasy villain would have to be sephiroth and my most hated of all would have to be genesis.

Hmm.. probably.. The snake (Midgar Zolem) from FFVII more a boss relly but was still hard

Hmm. I have to say Emerald Weapon. It took me an extremely long time to beat. I hated that thing.

i myself hate the mad scientist, Hojo he is definitely crazy, which is cool but the whole thing with taking weiss over with his own memory or what ever and then using him to kill his own brother is pretty low

Omega Weapon from ff8. Its freaking hard to defeat!

Kuja from FF9! Theres just somethin really camp about his personality. Could be the way he floats around like an irritating air hostess!

Ugh! How happy I was when he finally died for the last time.
I haven't played X-2 yet (I heard it was crap) but if he comes back in there I'm gonna go BERSERK.

I agree with Ultima Weapon from FF8. Man, thank god that was an optional battle! I got murdered, and it literally took like almost an hour to beat it. It was probably one of the most satisfying bosses to beat, because you just let out a sigh of relief when you are done.

I agree about Ultimecia. It took me forever to beat her.

I like Kefka's madness -- I just wish we had more of a story with him than "he was one of the first Magitek Knights and his mind snapped after receiving the infusion."

I haven't played any of the newer FFs in awhile so I can't comment on them too much...but I remember the villain in FFX-2, and she was really annoying. It's nice to see a female villain, but not her...

Kuja, for some reason he was harder to me than Hades or Ozma, lol.

The most difficult would have to be Emerald, Ruby, or nearly every optional in FFXII.

Omega in FFVIII was easy, even without Lionheart.

I was actually annoyed most by Kefka, not because of the difficulty of the final battle, but because of just how hateful and sadistic he was. I mean, I was originally entertained by his cruelty, but, in the final scene, when the main characters were all sharing what they'd learned on their journey, and he brushed it off as the stuff of "self-help booklets", I was actually annoyed and almost offended at his utter stubbornness and that gave me the extra anger that it took to kick his court mage behind.
Of course, the translation really didn't help, when, near the beginning, he's screaming "SON OF A SUBMARINER!", and then, a few hours of play later, and he's kicking his former emperor off of the Floating Continent. I mean, descent into madness is one thing, but that was just ridiculous. I guess my complaint amounts to "Final Fantasy VI needed to be longer, so we could see a more gradual progression in Kefka's total lunacy.".

Kujas also one of my favorites though. My favorite favorite is actually Exdeath. This is why I can't WAIT for the SNES emulator. I can then play FFV,which has the most HARDEST (NOT THAT KIND OF HARD ) but most EPIC looking final boss,Neo Exdeath! I mean,look at his speech!

Kefka was the only boss in all of the Final Fantasy series that I never got past, he deserves no praise. ^^

The most annoying personality for a Final Fantasy Villain would, in my opinion, go to Seymour. His self-serving, pompous, arrogant personality would drive anyone to want to kill him. Add to that his irritating voice, twisted world view, and obsession with Yuna and you have a truly annoying character.

However the most irritating battle goes to Kefka. I believe him to be the first of Square's Uber-Villains, a group of Final Bosses who are designed to frustrate you to no end and completely piss you off. However he is also one of the greatest villains in Final Fantasy history... he didn't just try to destroy the world, in a way he actually succeeded and become a god-like figure in the process.

Garland. he looses to level one characters and says i garland will knock you all down. yeah.

Kuraudo Sutoraifu. He killed Niisan. He did it twice.
