The first went unnoticed, a red path torn through the woods until at last she was consumed. The second brought a sense of unease, beautiful melodies slowly encasing their minds until silenced. The third caused sadness, though once adored only to be lost to paranoia. The fourth is bringing panic, for their loss yields madness. The eerie song continues. It wants to start a new chapter.

Fear has gripped the nation with the disappearance of the golden twins. The prince and princess have been missing for the past month with no traces of what happened to them. The king and queen are distraught and have issued a massive reward for their safe return.
The kingdom cries for the loss of the twins. In a country who truly loves their royalty and is blessed with a caring crown, they fear for the well being of the prince and princess just as much as their parents do. They want to find them and bring them back. But the twins have been lost to wonderland... which is not a place so easily entered. Still people follow the fool and succumb to its dream world.

Can you survive Wonderland?

This rp will take place in a world within a world. You will have to traverse wonderland, encountering strange things as you go. Can you find the twins lost within this world? More importantly... can you escape with them?

All characters will start off in the same location. Though their intentions may vary, all have excepted the jester's invitation and must now figure out a way home... if they can.

(( Though I'm an experienced role player, this is my first rp on this site, so if I'm doing something wrong, tell me. ))

Other information: This roleplay is loosely based off of the song Alice Human Sacrifice. I am also going to request that users who join, when your characters sleep, they should dream. Dreams are important to this story, so please include your dreams in your posts.

The 'Golden Twins' are so called because they have bright golden hair. One boy, one girl, with identical faces and bright golden eyes, are somewhere in Wonderland, and if you manage to get through this world, you may end up finding them. Then comes the second challenge. They may not be the same as the kingdom remembers them.


Name: Joker
Gender: Neither and both. Joker's body isn't exactly normal and it is capable of changing genders in an instant. For simplicity, Joker will be referred to as male though.
Age: Unknown
Reason for entering Wonderland: Joker was born in Wonderland at the same time of the world's creation.
Bio: Joker is the jester of  Wonderland and has been its care takers since its creation. Joker is just as mysterious as the world he resides in. He is the jester of dreams that will be your guide as your progress through this strange place.

He is only about 3 feet tall and childlike in both mannerisms and appearance, but he is capable of much more than you'd think. His childish voice is generally song like when he speaks directly, though more often than not, he will speak to you telepathically.

Joker won't answer questions about Wonderland, but he will show you if you let him. Just be careful. Like the world he has brought you to, he is unpredictable.
