In your opinion, who is that one character that is just god awful and close to being unplayable for you? For me, that would have to be Pichu in Melee. Christ, it's just a weaker version of Pikachu.

Captain Falcon for sure. He's the only character I can't really master =P His final smash is also kinda stupid. I prefer Captain Falcon on the original Super Smash Bros, but in Melee and Brawl he's terrible.

There is no smash character that's universally bad (universally meaning bad in every smash game)
But if I had to pick one from each:

64: Samus
Melee: Pichu - even if I really like playing as him
Brawl: Ganondorf is about as bad as Brawl itself.

If I had to pick one thats virtually unplayable for me:
64- I can play as anyone and be comfortable with it
Melee- Probably Zelda. I hate playing as her. I feel the only thing that makes her worth it is Sheik.
Brawl- I'm not a Brawler so this doesn't apply to me.

My opinion I don't think there are any weak characters. It depends on how you use them. For example Street fighter my friends button smash and say characters are weak, I can do everything at will with any character. Same goes for Mortal Kombat.
