Hello there! SilverHawk here again. Since my last post, I played various games from various platforms on the RGR, and I really enjoyed the high emulation quality and all the other little things you can do, such as use a game pad, take screenshots, chat with other players and etc. I especially enjoyed the MSX's emulation, which is great and comparable to all others in terms of quality, despite it being a rare and complicated series of machines.

Now, this brings up my suggestion: If the MSX is compatible with the RGR's structure, are other old Japanese computer systems, such as the NEC - PC88 and the Sharp X1, compatible too? I'm really interested in some games only available on these obscure platforms, such as the first Thunder Force and Hudson's Mario games, and I'd really some way to play them online. I know it may be extremely complicated the RGR staff do this, as the emulators for such systems are mostly 100% written in Japanese and hard to configure and due to the increasing rarity of games for these systems even on sites such as EBay.

It may be hard to do such things, but, using the broad range of consoles/computers that the RGR already covers as a basis, it's not impossible.

But this is just a wish of mine, so I'll still be glad even if this thread receives a response from the staff answering me that such things are impossible. All of the Vizzed network, not only the RGR, will maintain it's high levels of awesome, and I'll still access the board and use the RGR to death, and maybe, someday, use the RTR.

I support this man's ideas! Hear hear!

But while on the subject of old Japanese PC emulation, is there any chance of Sharp X68000 emulation? I've never been able to figure it out myself, but then, I think the Vizzed staff here are much more qualified on this matter than me.
