Resident Evil is my favorite series of games of all time.  I play it all day.  Seeing Resident Evil 6 coming out is going to be even more awesome.  It is coming out on November 20, 2012.  Here is the link to the trailer:

Hey, I would have made this thread if it weren't for the fact that I'm not old enough to watch the trailer on Youtube.

Anyways, I'm completely psyched. I saw the trailer, and I'm super excited Capcom is bringing Leon back. I just hope that they at least try to mix in classic RE gameplay with new RE gameplay, because that would be pretty epic. The only thing that sucks is that it looks like Claire, once again, won't be involved in the story at all unless I'm proven wrong when the game is released. I miss Claire in the main storyline. =/

I am a little bit hesitant on this mainly for story purposes. Is this supposed to be a continuation of the story, or take place somewhere in between the other games? If it is a continuation, that is where my concern comes from. My reasoning is because Wesker was killed for good in Resident Evil 5. The creators confirmed that. Wesker was either directly or indirectly involved in pretty much every event that happened in every Resident Evil 5. That includes everything that has to do with the viruses, each outbreak, the Las Plagas parasite, and each outbreak of that. He orchestrated the kidnapping of the president's daughter even. The true cause of every single catastrophic event in the entire series is dead, so continuing the story seems more like just the creators knowing that the will get a lot of money with it, so they decided to find a way to keep the story rolling. However, if it isn't a game that takes place after Wesker's death, I will be less hesitant. Regardless, I will probably purchase it anyway Can't let my skepticism make me miss out.

I've never really gotten into the Resident Evil series, though I'm definitely gonna check this one out at some point. It probably won't be until after it has been out for a while and gets marked down, but I do enjoy giving RE games a chance.

Yup yup . I check Gamespot daily, as well as ign. When I saw this trailer I was so excited since it's bringing some of my favorite characters together. This will be my third Resident Evil game. I got RE 4 and RE5.

should be good, the last one was ace. I was annoyed that move support was only added for the gold edition though >=(
