wouldn't welding the key cause melting that makes the key lose its shape? and glue would make the key slightly larger so it might not fit. you'd be better off just trying to fit them together in the lock (of whatever it's for)

Walk to the car; open the door slowly, pretend nothing is out of the ordinary. Take deep, calm breaths. Put the key in the ignition. Put the car in reverse. Shut the door lightly. Drive down the street, get out of the car…

[END OF NARRATION]
“Listen to what you’re saying… Are you insane? Sit down, take a break from all this.” Walter simply stood right at his front door, staring at the lock. The key was almost turned, but something stopped him from stepping outside. No matter how hard he struggled, and no matter how much he forced his hand to turn, it didn’t. Walter simply stood in a seemingly endless spiral of hesitation.
“C’mon, turn the key, damn you.” Beads of sweat flew off of his forehead. It almost felt physically draining to try and unlock the door… And, there was no other way of opening it… There was no lock knob; he’d always liked the simple key method.
The fear flowed through him like a paralyzing virus. So, instead, Walter pulled off the fear like a band-aid. He opened the door, sprinted to the car, swung the door open, slammed the gear into reverse and closed the door.
Final step: find his brother.

[NARRATION]
One hundred and eight minutes. What is so significant about that number? Well, I’ll tell you. Every one hundred and eight minutes, an insane man screams and babbles as he runs over to an outdated computer. He types in random keys and panics as he does so. The counter lowers; he groans with fear and enters the codes just in time.
The question I have is this: What if the supposed “doom” that is supposed to come if the code isn’t entered didn’t even exist? What if this was a giant guinea pig experiment?! Desmond may have been down in this place for no reason… And, for some reason, I feel bad for him.

Desmond leaned back in the computer seat, and sighed. His voice cracked as he took deep breaths. He acted like it was his first time entering the code, but it was apparent that he had been in the hatch for a significantly long amount of time.
“There’s a hundred and seven minutes left. What do you do in that time?” Ziggy scratched his head.
“I take a nap. But, with you here, I can finally sleep with someone else entering the code.”
“I-I don’t know the code, though…”
“That’s why I’m going to help you with that.” Desmond typed up all of the information for the code, and then turned the husky monitor towards Ziggy. “There. I’ll print it so you can type it in later.”
“T-thanks. Wait, you’re telling me you have a multi-phased sleep pattern? That’s gotta suck.”
“You get used to it when you’ve been doing that for years.”
“W-wait… Years?! Are you kidding me?”
“I wish I was.”
“Who the hell decided to keep you down here so long?”
“I work for Dharma corp. It’s supposed to be a three-year study. I’ve got a month left of this and I’m… I’m free.” Desmond began to chuckle when he reminded himself of this; he felt just as happy as the first time he told himself.
Ziggy felt guilty; if he just let Desmond be and kept entering the code, Desmond would be free from this without a potential consequence. If he ignored the code to see what happened, and something bad happens, Desmond will be ruined.
“I’m gonna go to sleep. Finally, something longer than a nap; where did you say you were from?”
“Uh, I don’t know how I got here… You’ve got me there.”
Desmond trudged out of the room and went to his chamber. Juliet stumbled in.
“What the hell’re you doing?! Hello?! Bleeding? The son of a b**** shot me!”
“You’ll be okay, it’s nothing severe. It barely hit you.”
“Ugh… Whoa--- wait, what was he leaving for?”
“He’s taking a nap… When he wakes up, everything’ll change.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?”
“I’m ignoring the sequence he’s been following for almost three years. I definitely don’t believe that there is an actual consequence.” Ziggy smirked.



“Dude, Roy’s been down there way too long. Don’t you think we should go after him?” BennyMD rhetorically asked as he grabbed goggles and an oxygen tank. He climbed up the small ladder, and left Jigsaw behind.
“Well, I guess I might as well join ‘em…”
Roy went back into the plane; he knew there had to be an answer to all of this somewhere. He opened the door and swam down the drenched aisle. He reached the flight deck and looked around to try to find anything suspicious.
“Hm… Nothing…” Roy slowly swam around the cockpit and noticed something obvious that he had missed before. “W-wait… The pilots aren’t here?!”

can i do this action? "pull a gun on juliet so she doesn't move"

Um, she sort of needs to be alive for a upcoming plot event XD she's already been shot anyway

What? She's crazy and I don't trust her. Also, I think she's going to be a huge problem for me in the future (assuming this is the same juliet from earlier in the story, but I don't know that)
